Grand Meadows VIP rider and Pan American U.S. Dressage Team Gold Medalist Heather Blitz partnered with Oak Hill Ranch’s seven-year-old Danish Warmblood Approved Stallion Ripline (Hotline x Blue Hors Cavan) in back-to-back wins at the HITS Saugerties Show, May 16 to 17, 2015.

Blitz, who is based in Medfield, MA during the summer, has been showing Ripline since he was four years old. They began the weekend by winning the Prix St. Georges from 16 starters with a score of 71.57%, followed by the Developing Prix St. Georges with 73.01%.

Sabine Schut-Kery and Sanceo Win Prix St. Georges and Intermediare

Grand Meadows Sponsored Rider Sabine Schut-Kery and Horsegate Farm’s Sanceo debut in Florida at the CDI Pan Am Qualifier at Global Dressage in Wellington  for their first show of the Season, January 16 through 19, 2015.  They went on to win the Prix St. Georges on Friday with a 71.8% and the Intermediare I on Saturday with a 74.5%.

This years Global Dressage Festival is the largest one yet, being in it’s fourth year.  There were 216 riders entered in the CDI portion of the show with competitors from all over the world.  This show drew riders preparing to qualify for the Pan Am Games in July to be held in Toronto where it will be the first Games to showcase teams of both small and large tour horses on the same teams.

There are a total of seven CDIs on this years Global Dressage Circuit and offers $650,000 in prize money over the circuit making it the richest Dressage Circuit in the world.  We are all wishing this talented pair and the rest of the American riders the best of luck in their journey to qualify to represent the US Team at the Pan Am Games!

Pan American Gold Medalist Heather Blitz continued her winning form at the New England Dressage Festival (NEDA) Fall Festival at Saugerties, NY from September 18-21, 2014. Riding her own 11 year old Danish Warmblood gelding Paragon (Don Schufro – Pari Lord x Loran), the pair headed a field of 20 entries to win the Grand Prix with a score of 72.55%. This is the fourth consecutive score above 71% at Grand Prix for Blitz’ 2011 Pan American team gold and individual silver medal partner who was also the 2012 London Olympic Games alternate.

Also this weekend Ripline was awarded a prestigious Silver Medal from Dansk Varmblood during the breed inspection event at the breeder Richard Freeman’s Oak Hill Ranch in Folsom, LA. “Not many stallions achieve that status but Ripline’s strong performances in this year’s competitions have proven to the inspectors that he’s worthy of the title,” added Blitz.
